Our preferred accomodation supplier is the Copthorne Hotel, Christchurch City - formerly the Copthone Durham.  It has been extensively refurbished and reopens February 28, 2011.

As a Southern Exposure attendee you will be given special conference room rates and have your room allocated together with other conference attendees, on the floors directly below the conference center.  The rate is fully flexible, and your card won’t be billed until the conference, unlike their possibly slightly cheaper spot rates.

Go to the conference booking page to make a booking, or call the hotel staff on +64 3 365 4699 to make a reservation by phone.  Do make sure to say you are attending the conference.

The conference booking page shows an old price - now $135/night for a standard room, $150/night for a superior room, a saving of $20/night!  Their page should be updated soon to reflect this.
