This workshop covers the basics of being an effective Dungeon Monitor, how to monitor what takes place in a play space, how to assist with the smooth running of a dungeon based event, and how to effectively intervene in the event that such an intervention is required.
The material presented covers health and safety issues, negotiation, observation and intervention skills. You do not require extensive experience in the scene to be an effective Dungeon Monitor - rather, you need sound judgement and the ability to communicate effectively.
Because of the intensive programme this workshop is limited to no more than 12 people. It is being run by the New Zealand Dungeon Monitors Guild, although attendees at the conference from outside New Zealand are also free to apply.
